The goal of our nonprofit organization is to help prevent homelessness by empowering single parents to break cycles of poverty and become  homeowners.

Did you realize your gifts of time and resources can change lives?  

Thanks to our generous donors, Why Not Ministries just helped a low income single parent family with another week's stay in an extended stay hotel.  They would have been evicted today, but we were able to provide funding for another week.  The grandmother is on disability and is raising her grandson.  They were evicted from their apartment recently and came to live in the hotel.  At one point, they were evicted from the hotel and the police officer who came to evict them paid their rent.  Another time, the residents of this very low income hotel took up a collection to help them with rent.  Soon, the family hopes to move to an apartment and we'll be able to help them with the deposit.

Join Why Not Ministries at our ENTERTAINMENT EXTRAVAGANZA fundraiser in Duluth on May 18 from 6-9.  We're looking for talent for our talent showcase and donations for our silent auction.
